CaT Pro Membership
Effective Date - 2nd March 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Check a Treatment platform (“CaT”, “we”, “us”, “our”) by businesses and practitioners (“you”, “your”).
By creating an account and subscribing to CaT Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Check a Treatment
Check a Treatment is an online discovery, content, and directory platform for beauty, wellness, healthcare, and related treatment services.
CaT provides visibility and information only.
We do not provide treatments, employ practitioners, verify credentials, or guarantee enquiries, bookings, or outcomes.
2. CaT Pro Membership (£9.99/month)
CaT Pro is a paid subscription that provides enhanced visibility and profile features, including:
- Public business profile
- Display of business contact details
- External booking link (where provided)
- Gallery and media content
- Access to platform features as released
All features are subject to platform development and availability.
3. Elite Membership (Coming Soon)
An Elite Membership tier is planned but not currently available.
References to Elite features are indicative only and:
- Do not form part of the CaT Pro subscription
- Are not guaranteed until officially launched
- May change prior to release
Joining CaT Pro does not grant automatic access to Elite features when launched.
4. Payments, Billing & Cancellation
- CaT Pro is billed at £9.99 per month, recurring
- Payments are collected securely via Stripe
- Billing occurs monthly in advance
- You may cancel at any time by visiting the STRIPE customer portal under the Manage Billing section
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
CaT reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.
5. Business Responsibilities
By subscribing, you confirm that:
- All information submitted is accurate, current, and not misleading
- You are legally permitted to offer the treatments listed
- You hold appropriate qualifications, training, and insurance
- You comply with all applicable UK laws, regulations, and professional standards
CaT does not independently verify qualifications or registrations.
6. No Endorsement or Medical Advice
- A CaT listing does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, or approval
- CaT does not provide medical, clinical, or professional advice
- Customers engage with businesses at their own discretion and risk
7. Content & Marketing Use
By uploading content (including text, images, videos), you grant CaT a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to:
- Display your content on the platform
- Feature your business in CaT marketing and promotional materials
- Share content across CaT-owned channels
You retain full ownership of your content.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Misrepresent services or credentials
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content
- Use CaT in a way that could harm users or the platform
CaT may remove content or suspend accounts at its discretion.
9. Platform Availability
- CaT is provided on an “as available” basis
- Features may change, evolve, or be withdrawn
- Continuous access is not guaranteed
10. Suspension & Termination
CaT may suspend or terminate access if:
- These Terms are breached
- Payments fail or are disputed
- Activity risks harm to users or the platform
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CaT is not liable for treatment outcomes or client disputes
- CaT is not liable for loss of income, bookings, or reputation
- Total liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 12 months
12. Data Protection & Privacy
CaT processes data in accordance with UK GDPR.
Business information is displayed publicly as part of your subscription.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CaT constitutes acceptance of any updates.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
